Terms and Conditions

Article 1 — Purpose

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set forth the rules and guidelines for the use and operation of all services provided by Ivantech Electronic-Center and CCTV Trading through its official website ivantechelectronics.com (“Website”). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to comply with these Terms in full.

Article 2 — Definitions

1. Member — a registered user who has created an account by agreeing to these Terms and providing accurate personal information.
2. User Agreement — the contract established between Ivantech Electronic-Center and CCTV Trading (“Operator”) and the Member regarding the use of Website services.
3. Member ID — a unique combination of characters and/or numbers issued to each Member for identification and login.
4. Password — a confidential code chosen by the Member to secure account access.
5. Operator — Ivantech Electronic-Center and CCTV Trading, which owns and manages the Website and its services.
6. Termination — the cancellation or discontinuation of membership and service access by either the Member or Operator.

Article 3 — Scope of Application

The Operator may issue additional policies or guidelines related to operations and services. In case of any conflict between these Terms and a separate operational policy, the operational policy shall prevail.

Article 4 — Formation of User Agreement

1. A User Agreement is established when a person agrees to these Terms and the Operator accepts their membership application.
2. Users must click “I Agree” after reading these Terms during registration to confirm their consent.

Article 5 — Membership Application

1. To use the Website as a Member, users must provide accurate and complete information, including their name, contact details, and email address.
2. Submitting false, stolen, or misleading information is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension, cancellation, or legal action.

Article 6 — Personal Information Protection

1. The Operator shall manage Members’ personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws in the Philippines.
2. The Operator will take reasonable security measures to protect Members’ data but shall not be liable for leaks or damages caused by the Member’s negligence.
3. If a Member violates laws or distributes illegal materials, the Operator reserves the right to submit such information to proper authorities when required by law.

Article 7 — Operator’s Obligations

1. The Operator shall address valid inquiries or complaints from Members promptly and fairly.
2. In the event of technical issues, maintenance, or force majeure (e.g., natural disasters), the Operator may temporarily suspend the Website or certain services.

Article 8 — Member’s Obligations

1. Members must comply with these Terms, Website notices, and relevant Philippine laws.
2. Members shall not transfer or assign their membership rights without prior consent.
3. Members are responsible for safeguarding their ID and password.
4. Members must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of Ivantech or any third party.

Article 9 — Service Availability

1. The Website operates 24/7, except during scheduled maintenance or unexpected technical disruptions.
2. The Operator may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, upgrades, or system issues, with prior notice whenever possible.
3. In cases of emergency or uncontrollable circumstances, notice may be given afterward.

Article 10 — Termination of Membership

1. Members may request to terminate their account at any time through the Website or by contacting customer support.
2. Once terminated, user data may be permanently deleted in accordance with data retention laws.

Article 11 — Prohibited Activities

Members are strictly prohibited from engaging in any of the following:

• Registering false or misleading information
• Interfering with or impersonating other users
• Violating intellectual property or privacy rights
• Spreading harmful software or engaging in hacking
• Conducting fraudulent, abusive, or illegal acts
• Using Website content for commercial or unauthorized purposes

Violation of these rules may result in suspension, account termination, or legal action.

Article 12 — Management of User Content

1. The Operator reserves the right to monitor and manage user-generated content (e.g., reviews, comments).
2. Posts or materials that are offensive, illegal, defamatory, or infringe on intellectual property may be deleted without prior notice.
3. Repeated violations may result in suspension or account termination.

Article 13 — Copyrights

1. Members retain ownership of content they post but grant Ivantech a non-exclusive right to use such materials for promotional or informational purposes.
2. Members may not reproduce, modify, or distribute Website content without written permission from Ivantech Electronic-Center and CCTV Trading.

Article 14 — Limitation of Liability

1. The Operator is not liable for any damages arising from service interruptions, data loss, or user errors unless caused by gross negligence.
2. Ivantech shall not be liable for any damages resulting from third-party attacks, software bugs, viruses, or natural disasters.
3. The Operator does not guarantee that all Website materials will be error-free, timely, or suitable for every user’s intended purpose.

Article 15 — Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ivantech Electronic-Center and CCTV Trading, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from violations of these Terms or misuse of the Website.

Article 16 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the proper courts of Cebu City, Philippines.

Addendum

These Terms and Conditions shall take effect on October 20, 2025, and shall remain in force until amended or replaced. Updates will be posted on this page when applicable.
